A Shreveport woman was arrested Sunday night on charges of disturbing he peace and public intoxication.

Courtney Cox, 29, was arrested following an incident where she stripped her clothes off and began swimming nude in the Horseshoe Casino and Hotel's fountain.

The casino security contacted the Bossier City Police Department when they saw Cox swimming naked in the fountain. Personnel made Cox get out of the fountain and put her clothes on before officers arrived.

Bossier City Police Department Public Information Officer, Mark Natale, tells KWKT, Cox was drunk and given multiple opportunities to contact a sober friend to come to the scene and take her home.

However, Cox became disorderly, yelling and cursing in front of casino employees and hotel patrons, even though officers advised her to behave in a calm, collective manner.

Cox was booked into the Bossier City Jail and bonded out, Monday.

Cox is awaiting her initial appearance in Bossier City Court.
