Name of Fort Hood soldier that died in one-vehicle crash released

Fort Hood officials have released the name of a soldier that died from injuries suffered from a one-vehicle accident on Wednesday, January 22, 2014.

Spc. Glenn Allen Moore, 22, whose home record is listed as Seminole, Florida, entered the military in October of 2010 as a geospatial intelligence imagery analyst.

He was assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 306th Military Intelligence Battalion, 89th Military Police Brigade, since October of 2013.

Moore deployed in support of Afghanistan from may of 2012 to April of 2013.

Moore's awards and decorations include the Air Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal with campaign star, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, NATO Medal, and the Army Aviator Badge.
