An overnight fire destroyed a historic McGregor home Monday.

McGregor Fire Department responded to the fire and called for mutual aid at the Brown-Mann home, located near Sixth Street and Jackson, around 6:30 p.m. At least six other fire departments responded to the scene. When fire crews arrived, the house, which has reportedly been vacant for at least two decades, was fully engulfed in flames that were quickly spreading.

No one was injured in the blaze. The fire marshal's office is now investigating the cause of the fire.
