WACO -- Police are investigating another burglary near Baylor campus that sent one to the hospital.

Thursday we told you about a robbery at Outpost Apartment's on South University Drive.

There two black males broke into an apartment and tied three people up before beating and robbing them.

Now police are investigating another robbery that happened earlier that morning in the 500 block of Daughtry similar to the one at Outpost.

"Two black males rushed in, had handguns, pushed him down, assaulted him, hit him with the handgun. Tied him up in his bedroom, ransacked through the house, took some money and some other property from the house," said Sgt. Patrick Swanton.

That victim had to go to the hospital to be treated for cuts, bruises, and possibly a broken nose.

The robberies occurred within a mile and a half of each other but police say it is too early in the investigation to determine if they are related.
