Police looking for man involved in early January robbery

Killeen Police are currently investigating a convenience store robbery.

It happened at 10:37 p.m. on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 atht e Speedy Pac #2 on Zephyr Street.

A store employee told officers than an armed black male entered the store and demanded money from the clerk.

The suspect then fired a shot in the direction of the clerk and fled the area.

Fortunately, no one was injured during this robbery.

The suspect is described as a black male who stood 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches.

He weighed 150 to 160 pounds and had a thin build.

The witnesses say the man had a dark blue or black letterman style jacket with dark blue sleeves, the jacket also had a large "S" on the front.

He was wearing black pants and a tan colored mask showing only his eyes.

Detectives are asking anyone who has information about this robbery to contact Crime Stoppers at 526-8477.
