McGregor police are looking for a man who robbed a corner store at gunpoint Thursday morning.

Luckily, the store clerk who is seven months pregnant is doing fine in a Waco hospital.

The female clerk opened the McGregor Corner Store at S. Main and West 6th St. shortly after 6 a.m.

Once the initial rush died down, a black man in his 20s or 30s, wearing a dark-colored mask entered the store.

The man, described as being roughly 5'9" and 170 pounds, brandished a gun and demanded money from the register.

He was able to get some money and leave on foot.

Police officers arrived to see the store clerk hyperventilating.

As a precaution, she was taken to a local hospital where we are pleased to report her and her baby will be alright.

Police are hoping to release surveillance video soon.

If you have any information on what happened, please call local police immediately.
