Property being damaged by pellet gun in Copperas Cove

The Copperas Cove Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in solving numerous reports of property being damaged by means of either a pellet or BB gun.

The amount of property that sustained damage was listed as residential, business and vehicle windows. The damage was first reported as occurring on May 3, with additional reports being made on May 4, May 5, May 6, and May 7. The damage was reported as occurring throughout the city with no specific area being targeted.

The Copperas Cove Police Department is continuing to investigate these cases, and is also asking for information that could assist with identifying the suspect(s). Information can be made anonymously through the Copperas Cove Crime Stoppers tip number (254)547-1111 or Crime Stoppers pays up to $1,000.00 in cash for clues if your information leads to an arrest and prosecution.
