WACO, TX – Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers announced that it will offer its ONE LOVE® -- quality chicken finger meals – free-of-charge for every faculty member in the Waco area on the evening of May 6th. The “no strings attached” offer is driven by the company’s steadfast commitment to supporting education in the communities in which it operates, and in honor of National Teacher Appreciation Week.
Raising Cane’s “Educator Appreciation Day” give-away is open to anyone with an official identification badge issued by any local elementary/middle/high school or college, public or private, including teachers, teachers’ aids, administrators, custodians, bus drivers and others.
School employees must show their faculty ID badge at the Waco restaurant between 3:00 PM and closing on Monday, May 6th, to receive a free Box Combo – containing four fresh, never ever frozen chicken fingers, Texas toast, secret recipe Cane’s sauce, coleslaw, crinkle-cut fries and a drink. (Offer is valid for one free Box Combo per ID badge. Faculty member must be present.)
“We treasure our local schools and the gifted professionals that play such a vital role in teaching and training our children,” said Mark Strouse, general manager of the Raising Cane’s at 4212 Franklin Avenue. “Supporting education is ingrained in our company’s DNA, so nothing could be more natural to us than inviting local educators in for a free meal and a heartfelt thank-you. We hope both our restaurants are packed with teachers, administrators and other school employees this Monday evening.”
