Second arrest made in Copperas Cove shooting incident

Copperas Cove Police Department has made another arrest, stemming from a July 5 shooting incident in which three men were injured. 

Misty Nicole Lane turned herself in to authorities for her alleged role in the shooting.

On July 10, police also arrested Andrew Norris, and he was charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Norris was later arraigned by Judge Guinn on the three felony charges. Bond was set at $450,000, which was $150,000 for each charge.

Police say on July 5, at approximately 12:25 a.m., Officers responded to the 200 block of Erby Avenue, in reference to a gunshot victim. Upon arrival, they located three adult males with gunshot injuries. None of the males were fatally wounded. Police say one of the victims was shot in the right thumb, another in the left arm and chest area, and the other was shot in the right leg and right forearm.

At this time, police believe there are no more arrests to be made.

"At this time, it is just believed there were two people. One was the shooter," said Sergeant Julie Lehmann of the Copperas Cove Police Department.
