Suspect arrested in connection with stabbing death outside of Gospel Café

An arrest has been made in connection with the stabbing outside of Gospel Café that led to the death of a 19-year-old.

Michael Morgan, 35, is awaiting transfer from the Gonzales County Jail to McLennan County where he will face a charge for the murder of Tamar Hinley. The 35-year-old was arrested by the U.S. Marshal's Task Force out of San Antonio early Wednesday morning.

The stabbing happened on June 13, in the 100 block of Cleveland Ave.
Officers said, two men got into an escalating altercation that led to the victim being stabbed in the chest. Hinley was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
