Swarm of bees kills two dogs

A swarm of bees stung three dogs and killed two of them on Monday.

Authorities said, as many as 200,000-300,000 bees were living in a shed behind a house located at the 2400 block of Baylor Ave.
According to Waco Police SGT. Patrick Swanton, the bees became agitated when the dogs started barking. Police,animal control, firefighters and beekeepers responded just after 1 p.m. A wall was torn down in order for bee keepers to remove the 50 pound hive. The owner of the dogs as well as some officers were also stung in the process.
