Temple Police make an arrest in a late May pharmacy robbery.

On August 4, 2013, Temple Police officers were following up on a tip that the suspect from the Westside Pharmacy robbery was just seen entering a gold vehicle.

Officers responded to the area and found a suspect and vehicle matching the description provided by the caller in the 2100 block of West Avenue M.

The officers stopped the vehicle and arrested Keith Chlapek, 26, of Temple.

Investigators with the Temple Police Department's General Investigations Unit conducted interviews with witnesses and found enough evidence to identifiy Chlapek as the man that robbed the pharmacy.

On August 22, 2013, the case against Chlapek was reviewed with Bell County DA. A complaint was prepared by the officer and a warrant was issued by the Justice of the Peace charging Chlapek with the robbery.

The suspect was arrested at a residence in the 1300 block of South 13th Street on August 26, 2013 without incident.
