Temple police have arrested a fugitive that they have been seeking the public's help in locating since January.

Darryl Kato Morrison, of Temple, was arrested on Monday on outstanding warrants. Morrison was wanted for a felony offense of Failure to Comply with Registration Requirements as a Sex Offender.

Morrison was convicted in 1987 for Indecency with a Child by Contact, and he is required to register annually for the rest of his life. Morrison failed to report in May 2012 for his annual registration and has failed to comply since that time. Morrison was previously convicted for Failure to Comply with Registration Requirements in 2006 and received a two year sentence in a State Jail Facility.

Morrison is also sought by Bell County and Wichita Falls authorities on capias warrants for Non-Payment of Child Support.
