Temple VA offers free health fair Friday

Temple, Texas – Veterans and the public are invited to join Central Texas Veterans Health Care System Friday, June 20, for its 7th Annual Health Fair by the Avenue of Flags in front of the Olin E. Teague Veterans’ Medical Center. The event runs from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Health Fair is free and open to Veterans, their families , VA staff and the public.
Services offered at the fair will include cholesterol checks, blood pressure checks, and blood sugar testing.
In addition, educational information will be available on many VA, state, and national programs including:

VA Band will provide music. Free hot dogs and sno cones will be available plus plenty of giveways. The first 600 people get a free bag at the registration table.
