Thieves take more than $20,000 in jewelry from Killeen Walmart

Killeen authorities are searching for two men who stole more than $20,000 in jewelry from a local Walmart Thursday morning.

A store employee called called policed and alerted them to the burglary that happened between 1:45 a.m. and 2:15 a.m. When officers arrived at the store, the associate pulled up a video that showed two men walking into the store. One of the thieves walked to the jewelry department where forced the counter open and took more than $20,000 in goods and left. The second man was seen buying items at a self checkout, then leaving the store.

The first burglar is described as an unshaven heavyset white man, wearing a black t-shirt with gray designs and a long sleeve gray shirt underneath and dark pants. The second criminal is a bald, clean shaven white man with a thin build, and taller than the aforementioned thief. He was seen wearing a tan jacket with a different colored collar and dark pants.

The burglars are possibly traveling with another unknown person in a dark blue Chrysler PT Cruiser.
