Truck flips over trapping woman inside at a park in Cameron

The Cameron Police Department responded to a crash that left a woman trapped inside her truck.

Officers responded to a report of the accident at the Cameron Master Gardner's Gazebo and Flower Conservatory shortly after 8:30 a.m. When officers arrived they found a woman had driven a white pickup through the park, crashed into a gazebo causing the car to flip over after hitting a wall.

Vivian Stephens, was trapped inside the vehicle while emergency responders had to use the Jaws of Life to safely get her out. Stephens was taken to the Little River Health Care Center to be treated for non-lifethreating injuries.

Police believe the accident was accidental. The crash is still under investigation
