Killeen Police arrested two people who burglarized a residence on Devonshire Ct. on August 28, 2012.

On Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at approximately 10:30am, Officers stopped a silver truck that was occupied by a white male and a white female. In the bed of the truck were a white washer and dryer and another small appliance. The officers noticed that the washer still had the water hoses connected but there was only approximately five inches of the hoses attached to the connection. It appeared that they had been cut to remove the appliances in haste.

The officers began speaking with the occupants of the truck and determined there was a possibility that the appliances had been stolen. During the investigation it was determined that the male and female were involved in a burglary that had just occurred at a residence in the 9100 block of Devonshire Ct. The male and female were taken into custody and transported to the Killeen City Jail.

Detectives had this case reviewed with the Bell County District Attorney’s Office and a complaint was returned charging 26 year old Zachary Charles Williams and 24 year old Jessica Leigh Talbot each with Burglary of a Habitation. Justice of the Bill Cooke set their bond a $50,000 each; they are currently in the Bell County Jail.

During further investigation detectives have been able to link these two suspects to numerous other burglaries in the Killeen area. These cases continue to be investigated and information will be released as it becomes available.
