The school and the A.J. Moore Academies Business Advisory Board handed out more than $20,000 dollars in scholarship. The scholarships went to graduating seniors who have achieved an excellence in leadership.
The students also received a special motivational speech from former NFL running back and Baylor University alum Walter Abercrombie.

"The habits that they have created that allowed them to get this scholarship, those are the tools and skills they will need to get them to the next phase of their lives. If they just hang on to those things and remember what got them here. Those skills are applicable no matter where they go." - Said Abercrombie
