A vacant home in Wisconsin was housing a puppy mill.

According to Animal Control, pitbulls in the home were either being bred for sale or for dog fighting.

The animals were found to be neglected and malnourished inside the vacant Milwaukee house.

Some of the dogs were in cages, others were tied to cages or running loose.

The dogs have been rescued by rescue groups who say that despite the neglect, the dogs are well socialized.

An animal control officer found one of the dogs wandering the neighborhood after somehow getting outside.
