VIDEO: Killeen PD seeks help in locating suspect in convenience store aggravated robbery

Killeen Police are investigating an early morning Aggravated Robbery at a local convenience store on Rancier.

Officers responded to a 9-1-1 call on Wednesday, May 22, 201,3 at 1:56 a.m., in reference to an Aggravated Robbery that just occurred at the 7-11 Convenience Store located at the 1408 East Rancier.

Upon the officer’s arrival, they located the store clerk who told them a white male entered the store and asked the clerk to assist him at the cooler. When she approached him he began assaulting and stabbing her. The suspect then ran behind the counter taking several cartons of Newport cigarettes and fled the store on foot.

The 49-year-old victim was transported to Metroplex Hospital with serious but non life-threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as a white male, mid to late 20’s, between 5’8” and 6’0” tall, weighing approximately 180 to 210 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black beanie cap, black t-shirt with a large football helmet emblem and DALLAS across the bottom of the shirt, blue jeans and black and white tennis shoes.
