CNN — A Texas woman is facing felony charges for losing control at a neighborhood dog park in Austin.
Police say the woman attacked two of her neighbors and their dogs, even throwing one of the dog's feces at its owner.
She told police she was sick of people not cleaning up after their pets.
Dogs of all shapes and sizes are a built-in part of the scenery at Auditorium Shores.
This blend of pedestrians, peddlers and pooches is harmonious for the most part.
People have the culture of picking up after their dog which is good.
A few miles north, picking up after their dogs is something tenants at the Canyon Oaks Apartments are encouraged to do.
There's a dog park inside the complex and free bags for the taking.
Rebecca Trammell, 46, was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
She told police she was fed up with people not picking up after their pets.
Her arrest warrant says she confronted two dog owners she claimed didn't pick up after their animals, even though one of them says he was walking to go get a bag at the time.
Authorities say Trammell admitted to hitting him with dog waste, spitting in his face and barely missing him with a six-inch rock.
Downtown, there's a perception that the city's "scoop the poop" campaign is working.
If convicted, Trammell faces two to 20 years behind bars and a possible $10,000 fine.
