Waco, Tx — The city of Waco is willing to pay a $10,000 reward for information regarding the rise in recent vacant North Waco structure fires. A vote by the Waco City Council Tuesday night approved the decision to offer the reward money.
More than two dozen fires have broken out in the area in the past few months. Fire officials have said arson is suspected.
Just last week, a reported arsonist was arrested for the fire that erupted at the Cameron Heights apartment complex, which is still under construction.
Authorities say if you have any information on the recent fires, contact the Waco Fire Department or anonymously call Crime Stoppers at (254) 753-HELP.
