Waco credit union robbery suspect now in custody

The man police say is responsible for robbing the Waco CT Credit Union on July 8 is now in custody.

Darryl Stoglin was arrested by Abilene police Thursday during an unrelated drug raid at a house. Stoglin will eventually be brought back to Waco from Taylor County, where he's currently being held in jail. He is scheduled to appear before a federal magistrate sometime Friday.

Officials say around 9:00 a.m., on July 8, a black male entered the C-T Waco Credit Union with a note threatening to have a gun. The man left with an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen heading towards the Colony Apartments on foot.

The man is described as 6'0" tall, in his mid-20's weighing in at around 200 pounds. He had on a grey shirt with "Baylor" on it, a lime-green undershirt and a baseball cap with a lime-green bill.
