The Humane Society of Central Texas, located in Waco, is looking for fosters to help with crowding at the facility.

The shelter is still holding unclaimed animals from the West fertilizer plant explosion that occurred a month ago. The Humane Society has not announced a date at this time for how long they intend to hold the rescued animals from West.

Meanwhile, the influx of puppies and kittens is also creating an issue with space.

If you or someone you know has not reclaimed any pets rescued from West, please contact the Humane Society to make arrangements to pick up or surrender the animals.
