Waco, Tx — A murder trial began Monday for a Waco man accused of murdering another man in December of 2011.
Jermaine Lamar Jones, 31, allegedly shot and killed 20-year-old Cedric Robinson, while he was sleeping. Following the crime, Jones ran from waco police.
Jones was eventually arrested at a Dallas apartment complex by Dallas Police Department on his murder warrant in late December and brought back to Waco. The U.S. Marshal Fugitive Task Force assisted with Jones' arrest. Waco PD's Special Crimes Unit traveled to Dallas to follow up on the arrest.
