The Waco Police Department is asking the public for help in identifying a man who tried to steal two new Xbox One consoles and injured a Wal-Mart security officer in the process.

Take a look at the picture above and others on the Waco Police Department Neighborhood Services Detectives’ Facebook page.

Police said a white male, who looks to be in his twenties, walked into the Wal-Mart store on Hewitt Drive in Waco on December 11.

He was able to come in possession of two brand new Xbox One video game consoles before trying to leave without payment.

Police say he dropped the electronics and fled the scene when confronted outside the store by somebody from the store’s Loss Prevention department.

In surveillance pictures released this week, the person of interest can be seen wearing black shoes, blue jeans, a red hat turned backwards and a grey-and-white sweatshirt over a black-and-white shirt.
