Waco PD looks for China Spring bank robber

Waco police are looking for a man they say is responsible for robbing a China Spring bank Friday evening.

According to police, the armed robbery took place at 5:55 p.m. at the First National Bank of Central Texas, located at China Spring Hwy and Wortham Bend Road. A white male, described as 5-foot 7-inches tall, weighing180 pounds, displayed a handgun and robbed a teller inside the bank.  The robber then drove off in a white, 4-door vehicle, with dark tinted windows and low profile wheels. The vehicle was last seen headed into the residential area behind the bank.

No injuries were repoorted during the robbery. Special Crimes Unit, Victim Services, and the Crime Scene Technicians of Waco Police Department responded to assist.
