Waco woman robbed at gunpoint

Sunday afternoon, at 4:29 p.m., a 34-year-old female employee of the Alon Convenience Store, located at 25th Street and Waco Drive, was attempting to make a store deposit at a local bank when she was robbed.

The victim was at the Central National Bank at 5400 Bosque.

The victim was about to enter the bank when she was knocked to the ground by a suspect described as a black male, 5'4'', wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and armed with a handgun. The suspect took two money bags from the victim and fled to a vehicle.

The vehicle is described as a blue four door, which was last seen headed east on Bosque. The victim was unable to provide a description of the driver. The victim received minor injuries from being knocked to the ground. No arrests have been made at this time.
