Woman arrested in connection to August 2013 Game Exchange robbery

Killeen Police have arrested a woman involved in a Game Exchange robbery.

On Friday, August 2, 2013 at 9:13 p.m. officers were called to a Game Exchange located in the 2500 block of S.W.S. Young Drive that had been robbed.

On arrival, they learned that two armed black males forced their way into the store when an employee was escorting a female customer out after closing time.

The two men forced the employees to the ground after demanding money. The employees heard someone knocking at the back door to the business shorlty after the two men entered the store, the suspects then opened the door to let another black male inside.

Once inside the business, the third man led the female customer to the back door and let her out.

The three suspects then broke several glass showcases and stole several electronic items from those showcases. All suspects then left the store through the back door.

Detectives have continued to investigate this robbery and found that the female customer who was being escorted out the night of the robbery was involved in the incident.

a search warrant was executed at the female's residence in the 3000 block of Blackburn Drive on Thursday, February 6, and several pieces of evidence involving the woman were found.

Jessica Elaintrell Smith, 21, a Fort Hood soldier, was taken into custody and charged with aggravated robbery.

Her bond is set at $100,000 and she is currently in the Bell County Jail.

Further arrests are pending at this time as detectives continue to investigate the incident.
