Two overpass bridges along Interstate 35 in Central Texas will cause overnight lane closures on Wednesday, Thursday and the early part of Friday.

Starting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, northbound traffic will be detoured to the frontage road at FM 2837 (Old Lorena Rd.) TxDOT crews will be working on the new overpass bridge and should be done with everything by 7 a.m.

On Thursday, crews will be working on the overpass at FM 2268 in Salado.
Starting at 7:00 pm, the northbound lanes near FM 2268 in Salado will be closed to allow the contractor to set deck panels in place for the new FM 2268 bridge.
Approximately 3 to 4 hours later, the northbound lanes will reopen and the southbound lanes of I-35 will be closed at the same location for 3 to 4 hours.

All overpasses from Salado to Hillsboro along Interstate 35 are set to be replaced to accommodate more lanes for the I-35 expansion project.
