Poverty solution initiative

Waco-- The Waco City Council has approved funding for a poverty solutions initiative to deal with high poverty rate in the city. The plan includes many different organizations and departments all across the area.

Habitat for Humanity helps Waco community

HUD is offering $19.6 million in grants to clean up houses with health and safety hazards. The federal office is going to grant 33- communities with the money, but Waco is looking to address the problem now.
