Waco, Tx — This weekend, you can enjoy a short stack for a tall cause at Applebee's in Waco.
For the first time ever, the Advocacy Center for Crime Victims and Children is offering “Pancakes with Santa”. It comes just in time, after you've burnt all that energy off with Black Friday shopping. Most of the proceeds from the breakfast go to the advocacy center, to provide counseling, interviews, and other services to crime victims.
"The support of the community this year has been tremendous. With the decreases in grant funding, just the community stepping up and seeing the importance of the services that we have here, is just very very gratifying," said Amy Perkins, Executive Director of the Advocacy Center for Crime Victims and Children.
Tickets will be available at the door for eight dollars each. The breakfast takes place from eight to ten a.m.
