Lorena, TX — Atmos Energy [1] crews fixed a broken gas line off of I-35 in Lorena yesterday afternoon.
Construction crews for the central Texas I-35 widening project [2]struck a gas line early Wednesday morning which caused problems for some Lorena [3] residents.
Atmos Energy immediately began repairs to the gas line to resume service to roughly 65 affected customers.
Officials say the break was not a danger to the public and that evacuations were not necessary.
