Waco, TX — Early-morning sleet has been causing headaches for many Waco commuters Monday.
Numerous wrecks around town have caused backups leading the city to deploy sand trucks to cover ice on bridges and overpasses throught the city.
One car ran into a power pole on Bosque Blvd. and Third Street.
The accident caused a power outage to local city offices.
In another incident, the driver pictured above said she lost control due to ice on a Highway 6 overpass.
Authorities are asking everybody to drive a bit more cautious when driving on icy roads.
