Waco, Tx (KWKT) — Authorities have identified a motorcyclist who was killed in a one-vehicle wreck on Friday.
According to the Waco Police Department, Robert Darnell Garrett, of Waco, 56, crashed his motorcycle on the 3200 block of N. 18th Street around 10:50 p.m. He was taken to Hillcrest Hospital, where he pronounced dead by Judge DeCluitt Saturday morning.
Officers responding to the crash discovered Garrett, who was not wearing a helmet, failed to make a curve while driving south on 18th Strett. Failure to control speed was listed as a factor in the crash.
