Seeing the approaching deputies, about 50 men are said to a tried running away from the property. A few of the men got away by jumping into the San Joaquin River, sheriff's say. Searching the building, deputies reportedly found about 50 dead roosters – along with 35 live roosters inside of wood boxes. Animal control has been called and is helping in the investigation.
