Williamson County, TX — Court officials in Williamson County have sent out 1,200 jury summons for prospective jurors in the capital murder trial of a Waco man.
Albert Love is the second defendant to go on trial for a 2011 shooting at a Waco apartment complex that left two dead and two injured.
Those summoned were asked to fill out a questionnaire Wednesday to see if they are suited to serving on the jury in Love's trial. By sending out so many jury summons, officials hoped to get at least 400 people to respond.
Co-defendant Rickey Cummings was sentenced to death following his trial in November 2012.
