BRYAN, Tx (KYLE) — If you drove around Bryan Thursday you may have noticed a new traffic light.
Last week we told you about several new signal upgrades along Briarcrest Drive; Thursday construction crews turned some of them on for the first time.
The new lights now have a left-turn yellow flashing arrow instead of a green ball. When you see the yellow flashing arrow, you're supposed to treat it as a yield sign.
Earlier in the year crews installed the first yellow flashing arrow in College Station on FM 2818 and George Bush Drive.
Four intersections along Briarcrest will have the new yellow flashing arrows. They are: Briarcrest Drive and Country Club Drive, Briarcrest Drive and Oak Ridge Drive, Briarcrest Drive and Freedom Boulevard, and Briarcrest Drive and Kent Street.
