Waco, TX (KWKT) — Monday night at 11:40 p.m., officers responded to a shots fired call in the area of Garrison and Faulkner.
Once on scene, they were able to discover that a vehicle occupied by five people, had stopped at the intersection of Garrison and Faulkner.
A black male, who was standing on the street corner and had been in a previous altercation with one of the vehicles female passengers, opened fire on the car with what is believed to be a handgun.
The vehicle was hit with gunfire and several of the vehicles occupants were treated for minor injuries at Hillcrest Hospital.
The patrol supervisor on the scene did not believe anyone was hit by bullets fired at the car.
Investigating officers believe they have information identifying the shooter; however no arrests have been made at this early point in the investigation.
Crime Scene Investigators were also called to assist in the investigation as it continues.
