BRAZOS COUNTY, Tx (KYLE) — The capital murder trial of a College Station man accused of killing a retired A&M teacher and brutally attacking his wife has been delayed.
This week a Brazos County judge approved at least a 45-day delay of the trial.
20-year-old Gabriel Hall is accused of the October 2011 slaying where police say he fatally shot and stabbed Edwin Shaar and critically injured his wheelchair-bound wife, Linda.
Hall was a senior at A&M Consolidated at the time of the murder.
If found guilty of the crime, Hall could face the death penalty.
