Fort Hood, Tx — A Fort Hood elementary school was placed on brief lockdown Tuesday after a teenager's body was discovered behind the school.
Special Agents from the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command are investigating the situation. Authorities say a teacher found the student's body behind Clarke Elementary school on Fort Hood. That teacher then contacted Fort Hood law enforcement.
Officials placed the school on lockdown until it was determined there was no threat to students or staff.
The 14-year-old boy who was found dead was reported missing by his parents earlier in the day, along with a weapon from home. No further details have been released.
