Waco, Texas — If you've passed by the McLennan County courthouse this week, you've probably noticed the pinwheels on the lawn. Those are out in honor of National Crime Victims' Rights Week.
According to the McLennan County DA's office, more than 570 victims of violent crime were served by the DA's office in 2013. The 30th Annual Crime Victims' Rights event will take place this Thursday, April 10 at 6:30 p.m. The event will be held at the Northern Gateway Pavilion, located at 704 Park Lake Drive in Waco. There will be food and fun to honor all victims of crime in McLennan County.
