KILLEEN — Family, Friends, veterans along with President Obama and first lady Michelle were among those who attended.
During the presidents speech each soldier killed was acknowledged along with more on their lives, the impacts they made on their community and the loved ones they left behind.
The memorial service included a 21 gun salute along with words from a chaplain and top army officials.
The Obama's also met with soldiers injured in last weeks attack.
The president wrapped up by reminding everyone tomorrow is Veterans Day and to pause for a moment and pay tribute.
