A small bomb sent to a woman and disguised in a box of chocolates in Houston blew up.
Investigators say the woman received the package at her home a couple of weeks ago, but didn't open it until Friday night. The bomb exploded in the woman's face, instantly hitting her with nails and tacks.
The device reportedly looked professional and included batteries and wires.
Witnesses say there was a card attached that included the woman's name and read "thank you."
Neighbors say the woman is in stable condition after undergoing surgery on Saturday.
Detectives see the incident as attempted murder.
