WACO -- More than 100 jobs will be coming to Waco.
Coll Materials Exchange, a national post-industrial and post-consumer plastics recycling company, is expanding into Waco with the investment of $550,000 from the Texas Enterprise Fund.
The City Council approved giving the recycling company more than $400,000 out of the Economic Development Incentive Fund.
The city and county will split the cost.
The company processes plastic scrap for resale. Processed material is sold to plastic manufacturers for various uses, including thermoformers, injection molders, structural foam molders, and vacuum formers.
Rep. Doc Anderson says, "This investment by the Texas Enterprise Fund is a testament to the vitality of our region and the great team we have in place working with leadership to bring jobs and growth to Waco."
