BELL COUNTY -- Bell County commissioners have voted to make changes at the dangerous intersection that was also the site of a deadly school bus crash.
From now on the speed at the Temple intersection will be reduced from 60 to 50 mph and there will be advance warnings and stop ahead signs 400 feet before the intersection.
The commissioners also voted to put in audible strips 200 feet before the advanced warning stop signs.
You may remember back in January a school bus full of children was hit by a delivery truck sending 29 students and two adults to the hospital.
The driver of the bus 71-year-old James Johnson died of his injuries and 14-year-old Haley Johannsen is now paralyzed.
