MCLENNAN COUNTY -- More cases of West Nile Virus are confirmed in Central Texas.
As of today there are 22 total cases confirmed in McLennan County with 12 cases reported in July and 10 cases so far in August.
The Bell County Public Health District has reported three confirmed cases and the CDC reports there have been 41 deaths from West Nile this year.
Officials caution everyone to get rid of any standing water wear DEET repellent and avoid the outdoors at dusk and dawn.
