WALKER, LA (NBC33) — A man has been taken into custody for allegedly cutting his unborn fetus from his wife.
The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office confirms that the incident happened at around 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 23. We’re told the woman was stabbed by her husband at around the 3000 block of Milton Road in Walker.
The fetus died at the home, but the woman was taken to a local hospital. We’re told she’s expected to survive.
Officials have not yet released the man’s name. However, they say he will be charged with First-Degree Feticide and Second-Degree Attempted Murder.
