HEARNE -- For the second time this year a Hearne city council member is in trouble with the law.
Councilman Matthew Gomez has been arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
And this isn't the first time Gomez is facing assault charges.
He was arrested back in April on allegations that he assaulted someone at a party.
Gomez is out of jail on a $25,000 bond.
