COLLEGE STATION -- A burglary suspect is caught thanks to some watchful neighbors who acted quickly.

College Station police say 19-year-old Jeremiah Altamiranda of Houston broke into an apartment at Parkway Place and stole two firearms but because some neighbors took down Altamiranda's license plate number.

Police were able to track him down and recover the stolen property.
